Application Process

 

Please call the school office or fill out an Inquiry Form to confirm available spots in grades prior to submitting registration forms.

 

 


St. Catherine of Siena School accepts students in the following order of preference:

(1) Registered parishioners of St. Catherine of Siena Parish who currently have siblings in the School.
(2) Catholic students registered in parishes other than St. Catherine of Siena Parish and who currently have siblings in the School.
(3) Registered parishioners of St. Catherine of Siena Parish who currently have no siblings in the School.
(4) Catholic students registered in parishes other than St. Catherine of Siena Parish but who currently have no siblings in the School.
(5) Non-Catholic students.

 

The Electronic Registration Process:

  • Be sure to have the following documents on hand when completing the online form in order to expedite the process:  Birth Certificate, Immunization Records and Baptismal Certificate (if applicable).

  • When you click on the Electronic Application Link provided, you will be directed to a screen that shows the Archdiocese of Newark logo.  It is there that you will create an account with PowerSchool Enrollment. Having an account will allow you to return to the registration process.

  • Data collected is not shared with third parties.

  • PowerSchool Enrollment also makes registering additional children simpler as you will be able to “snap” much of the information you entered into another family member’s registration.

  • After the online registration is complete, the school will contact you regarding next steps.

 

Registration Requirements:

The following items must be presented at the time of registration:

• Birth Certificate (copy for the school to keep)
• Baptismal Certificate (copy for the school to keep)
• SCS Health Forms with Current Immunization Records
• Registration Fees (non-refundable)

 

2024-2025 Registration Fees (non-refundable):

$200.00 - PK3  & PK4
$250.00 - Kindergarten through Grade 8

*Tuition rates for the 2024-2025 School Year will be posted soon.

 

The following is a listing of birth date requirements 2024-2025 school year:

• Children entering Kindergarten must be 5 years of age by Oct. 1, 2024
• Children entering Pre-K 4 must be 4 years of age by Oct. 1, 2024
• Children entering Pre-K 3 must be 3 years of age by Oct. 1, 2024

 

Health Forms:

To be completed by your physician and returned to school by May 1st.
This applies to any child registering in Pre-K 3, PreK4 and Kindergarten through Grade 8.

All students must be vaccinated according to New Jersey Department of Health (N.J.A.C. 8:57-4) requirementsWe do not accept religious exemptions on vaccinations.
