Preschool 3  and 4  Core Program

Our preschool 3 and 4 core programs are high quality preschool teaching programs which foster both your child's natural eagerness to learn and their amazing curiosity about the world. Our core programs promote understanding for a broad range of areas including language and literacy, mathematics, social-emotional development, religion, visual and performing arts, health, physical fitness, science, social studies, and technology. Our high quality core teaching program provides preschool students with rich opportunities to learn through play. Their play focuses on the world around them as they seek to make sense of the thoughts and behaviors of other people and experiment with living and nonliving things and make discoveries.  The goal of our core program ultimately is to prepare students for kindergarten,  fostering a strong interest in concepts and processes from all areas of learning to ensure their social and academic success.

SCS Core Program Days:

Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday (3/4 Day 8:30am-1:00 pm)

Preschool 3  and 4  Extended Program

Our Preschool Extended Program builds on the concepts introduced during our Core Program Hours. It continues to provide high quality teaching time and allows educators to build on concepts introduced during core hours with additional enhanced learning activities. The extended program also provides the opportunity for additional pre-kindergarten learning experiences such as school library and music appreciation. Extension hours also provide students with the opportunity to experience an additional physical education and technology periods.  The Extended Program Hours learning time reinforces the knowledge and skills introduced in our Core Program and provides a strengthened foundation for future learning and kindergarten readiness.

SCS Extended Program included with:

PK3 or PK4 - Full Day or 5 Day Program registration*

*Please note Preschool Core Program hours are required for all preschool students. Students may register for Extended Program hours by registering for our Full Day or 5 Day Programs. If space allows, we will accept additional Extended Hours registrations later in the year but please note that registration for Extended Program hours are contractual for the balance of that school year and cannot be modified or reduced once committed.
