Seventh grade students, left to right, Diana M., Thayah A., and Emma C. craft stockings for the poor which will be later stuffed with donated toys. Teacher Mrs. Carol Scalo started the tradition over ten years ago, encouraging her students to help make Christ-mas a little brighter for someone less fortunate. The stock-ings are sent to the Religious Education programs at the Cathedral Basilica, St. Patrick's Pro Cathedral and St. Rose of Lima parish in Newark.
